David Leinecker was born and raised in Kendall in Miami. He started in the insurance industry working as an adjuster for Allstate Insurance in Fort Lauderdale in 1988. After 4 years, David became an agent for Prudential in Sebring, FL. He ranked #14 out of 8,000 agents in the country his last two years. He moved to Fleming Island and worked for a State Farm agent in Green Cove Springs for three years. After being an agent for Humana for three years, David was hired to be a State Farm agent in Palm Coast. However, in 2008, State Farm was closing down a lot of its auto and home policies. They were not going to hire an agent for at least five years. David then opened his Brightway Fleming Island office in 2009. David moved to Fleming Island August 2000 from Sebring. He wanted to be near his sister and her family. David was involved in Boy Scout Troops. His oldest son became an Eagle Scout. David and his family attend the Church of 1122.
