I’m Sylvia Sanders, a mortgage broker with 20 years of experience and a deep passion for serving those who have served. My husband’s service in the California National Guard and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve opened my eyes to the values and sacrifices of our military community. After living and working in San Diego for 15 years, I realized my favorite clients were always veterans — humble, grateful, and deeply appreciative of the extra care I put into every transaction. That’s when I made it my mission to specialize in VA loans and become the best resource I could for military families.

I learned VA lending from the inside out, training directly with underwriters and closing hundreds of VA loans across a wide variety of scenarios. This hands-on experience, combined with my background as an educator, allows me to break down the process in plain language so you always know exactly what’s happening and why. Whether it’s a VA renovation loan, construction loan, IRRRL refinance, or even FHA, conventional, HELOC, or first-time homebuyer programs, I’m here to make sure you’re informed, empowered, and confident every step of the way.
